A single variety Gavi produced with the grapes of the estate’s vineyard through a fermentation process in stainless steel at controlled temperature, thus preserving the fragrance and flavors characteristic of the "terroir" of the fertile hilly landscape between Novi and Gavi.

 

GRAPE VARIETAL: Cortese (100%).

 

WINE MAKING METHOD: Soft pressing of the grapes, followed by a clarifying process and traditional-style fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature.

 

ALCOHOL BY VOLUME: 12.5% vol.

 

CHARACTERISTICS: Light straw color with typical greenish hues. Fragrant, fine, persistent flavor. Very dry taste, pleasantly fresh, intense and slightly  persistent.

 

SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Very good if served as aperitif, it can complement hors-d’oeuvres as well as main light dishes such as fish, shellfish, vegetable pies, cold cuts and white meats. To be served at 8-10 °C (46-50 °F) as aperitif; best at 11-13 °C (51-55 °F) while accompany-ing the main dishes.

The Selection

A selected, single variety Gavi produced with the grapes of the estate’s vineyard through a fermentation process in stainless steel at controlled temperature, thus preserving the fragrance and flavors characteristic of the "terroir" of the fertile hilly landscape between Novi and Gavi.

 

GRAPE VARIETAL: Cortese (100%).

 

WINE MAKING METHOD: Soft pressing of the grapes, fol-lowed by a clarifying process and traditional-style fermenta-tion in stainless steel at controlled temperature.

 

ALCOHOL BY VOLUME: 13% vol.

 

CHARACTERISTICS: Light straw color with typical greenish hues. White fruits that leave room to mineral flavors. Very dry, pleasantly fresh and persistent, finely sapid and with a slight almond flavor.

 

SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Very good if served as aperitif, it can be paired with hors-d’oeuvres as well as main light dishes such as fish, shellfish, vegetable pies, cold cuts and white meats, slightly seasoned cheeses. To be served at 8-10 °C (46-50 °F) as aperitif; best at 11-13 °C (51-55 °F) while accompany-ing the main dishes.

GAVI DOGC "Selezione"

Pleasant red wine where different red grape varieties, produced from vineyards with excellent exposure, well drained and rich in clay fraction, are harmonized in a product revealing rich concentration and elegance following its aeration throughout the tasting experience.

 

GRAPE VARIETAL: Dolcetto (20%), Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%).

 

WINE MAKING METHOD: Soft pressing of the grapes, fol-lowed by a clarifying process and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel.

 

ALCOHOL BY VOLUME: 14.5% vol.

 

CHARACTERISTICS: ruby red color with violet hues, intense and deep. Deep and intense flavor with hints of fruit. Soft taste on the palate, warm and very elegant.

 

SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Excellent when paired with dishes of raw meat, roasts, game and aged cheeses. To be served at 18-20 °C (64-68 °F).

MONFERRATO ROSSO DOC

A single variety sparkling wine, produced from Cortese grapes, giving evidence to the fragrance and aroma characteristic of the Gavi. It shows a marked vivacity and retains a dry flavor, supported by a pleasant acidity, making it a young, attractive and quality wine, ideal for those who like to dine with sparkling wine and perfect choice for cocktails or dessert.

 

GRAPE VARIETAL: Cortese (100%).

 

WINE MAKING METHOD: Soft pressing of the grapes, followed by a clarifying process and traditional-style fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature. Then, the wine undergoes a secondary fermentation in bulk tanks following the Charmat method.

 

ALCOHOL BY VOLUME: 12% vol.

 

CHARACTERISTICS: Light straw color with typical greenish hues. Fine, fragrant flavor. Very dry, fresh and intense taste and with good persistence.

 

SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Excellent if served as aperitif or to complement main cold dishes. To be served at 8-10 °C

(46-50 °F).
